Pointe-du-Moulin (Windmill Point)

This plein-air painting day in August 2021 was organized by one of my local art groups, just outside of Montréal. The Pointe-du-Moulin Historical Park is home to several beautiful stone buildings, in a lovely waterfront location. These include the oldest working windmill in Québec, dating from 1708, and the Miller's House which was built between 1785 and 1791. In this photo I'm painting a quick study of the slope-roofed Miller's House.
