Adrift, old canoe | Emporté, Le vieux canot

I took this photo when I stopped to rest in a sheltered bay, while out for a bike ride. The reflection of the old white canoe on the lake caught my eye, and I knew at that very moment that I wanted to paint this scene someday. | Je suis arrêtée me reposer à l'ombre, lors d'une randonnée de vélo au bord du lac, quand la réflection de ce vieux canot blanc dans une petite anse m'a attiré l'oeil.
